What it does
Most scanners open the link the moment they read it. BVS QR Code never opens anything automatically. It shows the real destination first, follows short links and redirects for you, and warns you about risky QR codes: app-store and subscription links, phone and SMS actions, payment addresses, look-alike domains, and long advertising redirect chains.
Why we built it: a QR code led to an advertising page, one “confirm” tap started a paid subscription. A scanner should have shown that destination first.

- Green — no obvious problem found. This is not a guarantee; we cannot see what a page does after it opens.
- Yellow — suspicious signs (short link, many redirects, “subscribe / pay” wording, unencrypted http).
- Red — do not open (store/subscription links, calls, SMS, payment addresses, number-only or look-alike addresses).
